What to Expect with Cento Moving
At Cento Moving, our goal is to make your move as stress-free as possible for you. Whether you’re moving a few blocks away or across the country or just putting some things into storage, we’re here to make this whole process a breeze.
We believe in being fully transparent when it comes to scheduling a move so that you know just what to expect on moving day.
Other moving companies might breeze through the booking process just to get you on the calendar and then they show up unprepared for the job—costing you more in the long run.

Our Pricing
We know you have plenty of choices when it comes to moving, and it can be tempting to go with the cheapest option or to do it yourself. But these are all your belongings we’re talking about, and they deserve the best service.
Plus, when you leave the moving to yourself, there are a lot of hidden costs that pop up.
When you move with Cento Moving, you won’t be surprised by anything. We’ll get a comprehensive list of your belongings, so we can give you an accurate rate and leave the guesswork out of it.
To give you the most accurate estimate, we will ask you many questions such as if you have any glass/marble tops, if your staircase has a tight turn, how far the walk from our truck to your front door is, if the elevator is shared with other residents or if it is a freight one, and more.
This way, we can give the most accurate moving rate and time frame, and when we show up on moving day, we are on time and fully prepared to get the job done in the time we allotted.
Average Moving Prices
Most one or two-bedroom moving jobs are completed by a team of two movers and take between three and five hours depending on the distance you’re moving, if there are any stairs, and where we can park our truck. Our rate for two-man moving jobs is $169 per hour.

If your job requires three or more movers, the hourly rate will be higher. All moving jobs also include a flat-rate travel fee and fuel charge, as well as a small, refundable deposit to hold the date.
Your movers will also come with additional packing materials—boxes, tape, mattress bags, etc.—on the day of your move. If you need any of these materials, the individual cost will be added to your final bill.
No Surprise Fees
When you book with Cento Moving, there are no surprise fees. Before we book your move and collect your deposit, we’ll provide you with your hourly rate and an itemized list of additional packing materials and their costs.
Ultimately, the final price and hourly rate for your move will depend on the distance you’re moving, how much you need moved, number of staircases, and more. If you have specific questions, fill out our moving quote form or give us a call for the most precise estimate!

We take the utmost care when moving your belongings, but if your valuables and fragile items aren’t properly packed, they can still suffer damages. Plus, packing is a burden and you’ve got plenty more to concern yourself with at the moment.
So call us to handle your packing as well! We’ll itemize every item and securely pack everything before loading it onto the truck. We’ll also pack as much or as little as you want!
If you can handle packing up the bedrooms but want to leave packing up your dishes to the professionals, we can handle that on moving day. If you want our team to pack up your entire household, we’ll schedule a packing day with you.
Your hourly rate for packing will be the same as your moving hourly rate plus the cost of the materials used.
