At Cento Moving, our goal is to make your move feel clear, organized, and as stress-free as possible. That starts with pricing.
Every move is different, so your final cost depends on the size of your move, the number of movers needed, access at both locations, travel, packing materials, and any additional services you request. But before we book your move, we’ll walk you through your hourly rate and expected costs so you know what to expect before moving day.
We don't rush through the quote process just to get you on the calendar. We ask detailed questions about your belongings, your home, and your moving day needs so our crew can show up prepared and ready to work efficiently.
That preparation helps protect your belongings, reduce delays, and give you more confidence in your moving plan.
Our Pricing
Cento Moving prices your move around the time, crew, equipment, and services needed to complete the job safely and efficiently. We do not believe in giving a vague estimate just to win the booking and then sorting out the details later.
To build your moving quote, we’ll ask about what you’re moving, where you’re moving, how easy it is to access both locations, and whether you need help with packing, storage, specialty items, or additional materials.
These details help us recommend the right crew and prepare for the realities of your move, including stairs, elevators, long walks from the truck, tight turns, glass or marble tops, and other items that need extra care.
The more accurate your quote information is, the more accurate your moving estimate can be. That means fewer surprises and a smoother moving day.
Cento Moving Rates
For many 1- or 2-bedroom moving jobs, Cento Moving sends a team of two movers. These moves often take 3-5 hours depending on the size of the move, the distance, stairs, elevator access, parking, and how much needs to be loaded and unloaded.
Our current rate for two-man moving jobs is $169 per hour.
If your move requires three or more movers, the hourly rate will be higher. Every move also includes a flat-rate travel fee and fuel charge, along with a small, refundable deposit to hold your move date.
Your movers can also bring packing materials such as boxes, tape, mattress bags, and other supplies. If you need those materials, the individual cost will be added to your final bill.

When you book with Cento Moving, we want you to understand your moving costs before the crew arrives. Before we collect your deposit, we’ll provide your hourly rate and review any expected additional costs, including packing materials, travel, fuel, and move-specific needs.
Your final price depends on the actual time and services required, but our quote process is designed to reduce guesswork. We ask detailed questions up front so we can plan the right crew, arrive prepared, and avoid preventable delays.
The more specific you are in your quote form, the more accurate your estimate can be before you save the date.

When your Cento Moving team arrives, they come prepared with the truck, furniture pads, dollies, and equipment needed to handle your move carefully and efficiently.

We take the utmost care when moving your belongings, but if your valuables and fragile items aren’t properly packed, they can still suffer damages. Plus, packing is a burden and you’ve got plenty more to concern yourself with at the moment.
So call us to handle your packing as well! We’ll itemize every item and securely pack everything before loading it onto the truck. We’ll also pack as much or as little as you want!
If you can handle packing up the bedrooms but want to leave packing up your dishes to the professionals, we can handle that on moving day. If you want our team to pack up your entire household, we’ll schedule a packing day with you.
Your hourly rate for packing will be the same as your moving hourly rate plus the cost of the materials used.
